Mahogany body.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\"\u003eIn ‘68 Gibson were using imported tuners from their Kalamazoo range to keep up with orders as interest in the bass hit it’s peak. Unfortunately one of the tuners had a chewed up gear cog so I have fitted Gibson period correct tuners so no issues now and it looks perfect. The originals are inside the case.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\"\u003eThe bass has had no neck or headstock repairs. It’s lovely to play and nice and light but resonant. The big Gibson mud-bucker is stock and sounds massive.
