1962 Fender Precision Bass in a lovely Sherwood Green. The original owner decided to change the bass from Fiesta Red way back in the day and stripped it before painting it in a blue finish. At some point the pick up cavity has been slightly altered too. This has now been professionally fitted with a matching piece of timber before the refinish. The pick guard was also altered at the same time but has now been repaired using a matching tortoiseshell piece from a similar aged guard.
This is a lot of people Holy Grail bass having the slab board which is sublime, it’s an absolutely killer P Bass and plays as well as it looks. Original pots in the case (although one has been swapped for a newer CTS )and pick ups.
Comes with an old hard case, not an original as the first owner couldn’t afford the case as well as the bass!
