1969 Fender Telecaster Bass in a stunning Blonde refinish by David Wilson. The bass came to me stripped natural with a poly coating having has the slab body edges rounded to make it more comfortable for the previous owner in London. I made the decision to ask David to refinish in a natural worn looking paint with some ‘natural’ wear marks and checking. I think it’s stunning. The neck plays well across the board with no dead spots or buzzing, lots of life left in the frets too. It has a lovely bakelite plate too and it really sets the bass off in my opinion.
The rest of the bass is completely original with the neck being worn and as it left the factory. These are becoming thin on the ground now, especially in this condition and it plays as good as it looks. Its pretty light too at around 4kg so ok for those looking for a 2 hour gigging machine.
Comes with a non original hardcase.
